It used to be you could sell with a basic analysis but now if you're dealing with export contracts, they want the whole workup. My dad does this stuff
It's adding another $50 to 75 per sample and creating this kind of two tier market where domestic hay moves on simple tests but anything going overseas needs the premium panel. We started keeping samples from different areas of the barn just in case an export opportunity comes up, because you can't exactly go back and retest bales you sold three months ago
