I just started using my tractor again, coming from the winter break, and I'm getting random ecu codes. I've replaced the crankcase filter but there's still intermittent engine issues. It's so hard to predict when and why them come on. It's a John Deere 6145M. Anyone got into the same problem? How did you get it fixed?

I had a similar issue with my vehicle last season,those random ECU codes really drove me crazy. It turned out that a dirty CAN bus connector near the fuse block was the culprit. I cleaned all the connectors and reattached them, and it's been running smoothly since. It might be a good idea to check that on yours as well

have you checked the battery & electrical system? low or weak batteries are common culprits for strange electronic issues after storage.
check battery voltage, connections, and the charging system. Also inspect all fuses and wiring harnesses for corrosion or damage.

Great tips. Issues with the CAN bus and battery after storage are pretty common. I'd also suggest checking for any moisture in the connectors and doing a complete fault code scan after you've cleaned everything.
