I was checking out used flatbeds and came across a 45-foot trailer with a steel rack once used for hauling trash cans. After talking to the seller, I found out the deck's actually 35 feet long. He also mentioned it has two 14,000-pound single-wheel axles, which definitely caught my attention.

Well, I must say your axle setup sounds okay for a flatbed, especially with single wheels. Maybe just don't forget to double check that weight rating and how it's distributed on that shorter deck.

That setup can handle a decent load. The shorter deck might limit longer items but could still work well for compact loads or if you're hauling bins or pallets. and the steel rack might add some weight but could also be handy for securing items.
